What is corporate housing and what is included?
Corporate housing accommodations are fully furnished one-, two- or three-bedroom luxury apartments in and around major metropolitan areas. Pricing includes local phone service, extended basic cable and all utilities. This type of temporary housing offers unlimited additional services to meet your needs, such as high speed Internet, premium cable, long distance phone service, upgraded furniture/house ware packages and housekeeping services.

What are the advantages of staying in corporate housing versus a hotel or extended stay facility?
Corporate housing provides new residents with a stress-free solution for temporary accommodations, far better than a hotel or extended stay facility. The apartments are typically in well-maintained communities that provide a residential living environment and a sense of home. Located in quiet residential settings, unlike hotels that are often located at busy intersections, these communities often include amenities such as fitness centers, swimming pools, tennis courts, playgrounds and clubhouses.

Additionally, corporate apartments offer substantially greater square footage than that of a hotel room, complete with fully equipped kitchens with full size appliances, as opposed to the mini cook tops and refrigerators offered by some extended stay facilities.

Corporate housing is arranged through a leasehold agreement. This may enable you to utilize the lease paperwork to enroll children in schools and more quickly establish residency in your new area. A leasehold agreement also ensures the residents meet qualification standards, whereas, a hotel has no qualification requirements-anyone can check into a hotel at any time. Also, for a 30-day stay, corporate housing pricing is typically one-half to one-third the cost of a hotel or extended stay facility.

What is the required length of stay? When should I reserve my apartment?
Typically, a minimum 30-day stay is required in a corporate apartment. However, pricing and terms are always subject to availability, so it is best to check availability within 30 days of your anticipated move-in date. Corporate housing companies typically require a notice-to-vacate from their customers 15 to 30 days from departure date, so corporate housing companies can better anticipate their ability to reserve your apartment when you request availability within that 30-day timeframe.
