While other communities in Atlanta real estate claim to be mixed-use, many do not go above and beyond the expectations of homebuyers the way 12th & Midtown does. This isn’t an ordinary community. Instead, this mixed-use development will span four city blocks, feature more than 1,000 residences, more than 1.2 million square feet of office space, more than 600 hotel rooms and more than 200,000 square feet of retail space.

Phase One of construction includes 1010 Midtown, a 35-story dramatically designed high-rise development which boasts luxurious one-, two- and three-bedroom condominiums with exceptional amenities such as a sparkling swimming pool with cabanas, a park with manicured gardens, a state-of-the-art fitness center, 24-hour concierge service, a club room and keyless building access. The tower’s graceful design mimics the natural curve of Peachtree Street (thus the nickname “the Curve”) and offers sweeping and stunning views inside and out. It is called the most thrilling curve in Atlanta and rightfully so. Included in this elegant high-rise, with its breathtaking and panoramic views of Midtown and downtown Atlanta, are 443 upscale condominiums and 50,000 square feet of retail space, which will feature national and international retailers, fine dining restaurants, wine bars, local pubs and more.

“The difference between us and other real estate developments is that we are a true mixed-use community,” says Jason Winburn, vice president of sales and marketing at Daniel Corporation, developer of 12th & Midtown. “We are unique in that everything is being built in lock step—the hotel, condos, office space and retail space.” Winburn notes that businesses located right below the condominiums will include a European-style bakery with a wine/cheese and sandwich shop, a sushi restaurant, an Italian eatery, and an upscale Irish restaurant and pub, each to contribute to the live-work-play urban lifestyle that future residents of the 1010 complex can expect.

Nicknamed “the Curve,” 12th & Midtown offers an upscale, mixed-use community to residents who desire intown living with all the amenities
The ready-to-move-in condominiums are adorned with luxurious features, including 10-foot ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, smooth and finished ceilings, Bosch appliances, wide-plank hardwood floors, designer wood cabinetry, granite countertops, frameless glass showers, tiled baths and deep soaking garden tubs. The average two-bedroom condo measures a generous 1,400 square feet, and for those in need of more space, both 1,900- and 2,400-square-foot units are available.

Phase Two, located at 1075 Peachtree Street, is also underway, with 60 more luxury residences offered in a development that will include 725,000 square feet of office space in its tower, as well as 60,000 square feet of retail space and the new 414-room Loews Atlanta Hotel, scheduled to open in April 2010.

This exciting new development was recently awarded two Gold Winner awards at the International Builder’s Show, as well as being named “Best in Atlanta Real Estate” by Atlanta Business Chronicle. Fast becoming the city’s new epicenter, the 12th & Midtown complex. will be the cornerstone for what is called the Midtown Mile, with entertainment and the arts all within easy walking distance, including nearby Piedmont Park, the Fox Theatre, the High Museum of Art and the 14th Street Playhouse.
